INGREDIENTS
Buffalo sauce .
1 sweet pepper (Ramiro) or 1 red pepper sliced
1 onion finely sliced
3 garlic cloves sliced
2 tbsp veg oil
240ml hot sauce
180g cold butter chopped
4/5 tbsp honey
1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp cider vinegar
salt and pepper
RECIPE
Heat the oil in a pan and sweat down the peppers, onions and garlic
Pour in the hot sauce, add the cayenne, paprika, Worcester, salt and pepper
Transfer to a blender and add the honey.
Blitz until smooth then blitz in the butter bit at a time.
Coat your cooked chicken wings... enjoy with a sprinkle of truffle salt and some blue cheese dip if you fancy an extra slutty touch
Buffalo Sauce.. mainly for wings but use it however you want if you’re veggie it works great with cauliflower too.
For the wings you can either deep fry them or bake them.. either way coat them in cornflour or potato starch with some seasoning and either bake at 220c for 25 mins or deep fry at 170c for 7-8 mins.
